Heard of Dr. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan,if not click here see what  2009 Nobel Laureate in chemistry has to say about his student/professional life.He didn’t go to an IIT or the best colleges in the US, and was not called for single interview despite applying for over 50 positions. So, as he received his award, Dr Ramakrishnan said even as you pursue your dreams, keep your options open in case of setbacks.
