A moon in the dark night-Introducing a pioneer who fought against pseudoscience by another pioneer

     Carl Sagan who was one of the  pioneers who realized the importance of science education  and who vehemently fought against  pseudoscience. Sagan’s book elaborated on his skeptical, naturalistic  view of the world. In The Demon-Haunted World, he presented tools for testing arguments and detecting fallacious or fraudulent ones, essentially advocating wide use of critical thinking and the scientific method. see it here .Here James Randi who has left a successful profession as a magician and  has devoted his life to expose the frauds of all kinds including Godmen and homeopathy.Randi entered the international spotlight in 1972 when he publicly challenged the claims of Uri Geller.
