Premanand trained countless people to do magic tricks and these folks traveled to remote villagers to debunk gurus, shamans and others who would prey on people’s gullibility and superstitions. His life was threatened countless times and was harassed, but refused to stop speaking the truth.
He unfortunately succumbed to cancer.He was good at replicating some of the gurus’s “powers” by doing magic tricks and the delight he took in opening people’s minds to the power of science and logic.(interview held in 1995)
