गुरुरेव परंब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
gururbrahmaa gururviShNuH gururdevo maheshvaraH
gurureva para.nbrahma tasmai shriigurave namaH

A lot of things have changed in 21st century. In the era of all pervading information the idea of teacher as a knowledge/information dispersing machine has become irrelevant. He has become more of facilitator who facilitates education than educating. He has to understand and if he still clings to the old role of primary source of knowledge he is in peril.A teacher who understands his role and takes his profession seriously should understand this and adjust his role accordingly else he can become a cheater.

Why cheater??
many of teachers have become cheaters as they do not take their profession seriously but fool the students hence they are cheaters
@ avinash , not all but majority is with cheaters.
I’m not sure I understood this:
“For the vision of one man lends not its wings to another man. ”
Acc to me; an idea, when implemented, transforms the whole society. To get the whole society behind you, the idea’s creator must have induced some of his thoughtfulness in the minds of other people.. (or, the like-minded people one can say)
